A significant revelation has emerged regarding the social media accounts of Sindh Police, exposing 97 fake pages, accounts, and IDs. This includes 5 fake websites and 21 fake WhatsApp groups.
Details reveal that Sindh Police maintains only one official account on Facebook and other social media platforms.
However, unknown fraudsters have created 97 fake pages, IDs, and accounts. In response to this serious situation,
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has taken immediate action by writing a letter to the DG FIA.
In the letter, IG Sindh stated that an unknown person is operating fake pages and IDs of Sindh Police, which have no connection to the official accounts.
These fake accounts can mislead the public and create confusion about the Sindh Police.
The letter also mentioned that the individual managing these fake accounts is neither a spokesperson nor a focal person of Sindh Police.
IG Sindh has ordered the deletion of all such accounts and requested detailed information about these fraudsters to take appropriate legal action against them.
