Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan made history today by setting a new Olympic record in the men’s javelin throw final with an astonishing throw of 92.97 meters.
This monumental achievement not only secured him the gold medal but also placed him among the elite javelin throwers in Olympic history.
Nadeem’s record-breaking throw surpassed the previous Olympic record of 90.57 meters, held by Norway’s Andreas Thorkildsen since the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
