Islamabad, September 12, 2024– Opposition leader Omar Ayub has expressed outrage over being named in three separate cases, securing bail for one of them from the Peshawar High Court. In a surprising twist, he revealed that one of the FIRs against him included a deceased person.
“They’ve reached a point where they booked a dead man along with me,” Ayub remarked, highlighting what he called incompetence in handling legal matters.
He further criticized the Islamabad IG, questioning how the recent actions were carried out with the knowledge of the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Ayub demanded an investigation into these incidents and raised concerns about the suspension of the Sergeant-at-Arms, calling the situation unacceptable.
He ended his remarks by questioning the credibility of those involved in such decisions, adding, “What kind of negotiations are they capable of conducting with such behavior?”
