In a shocking incident in Rawalpindi, a groom found himself at the police station the day after his wedding, filing a report against his new bride.

The groom, whose identity has not been disclosed, reported to the Naseerabad police station that his wife, identified as Ayesha, absconded with valuables worth a significant sum.

According to the groom, he had gifted Ayesha clothes worth PKR 120,000, cash amounting to PKR 250,000, and three tolas of gold jewelry as part of the wedding festivities.

However, the day after the wedding, Ayesha allegedly made an excuse about her mother’s illness and left, claiming she needed to visit her aunt’s house. She never returned.

The groom mentioned that a few of Ayesha’s relatives had attended the wedding, and a search is now underway to locate the bride and recover the stolen valuables. The police are actively investigating the case.
