Renowned drama writer Khalil-ur-Rehman has been the victim of a shocking robbery and kidnapping incident. The police in Sundar have registered a case based on Khalil-ur-Rehman’s statement.

According to the details provided by Khalil-ur-Rehman, a woman named Amna called him, expressing her interest in making a drama. Upon arriving at her house, he was ambushed by armed individuals.

The assailants not only subjected Khalil-ur-Rehman to physical abuse but also moved him to various locations. They threatened to kill him, demanded money from his relatives, and forcibly took his mobile phone, watch, and cash. The culprits also transferred approximately PKR 250,000 from his ATM card to their account.

After blindfolding Khalil-ur-Rehman, the attackers abandoned him in a deserted area and fled the scene.

The police have initiated an investigation, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects. Authorities are analyzing various aspects of the case, including tracking the transactions made through the ATM card, to locate the culprits.
