Sri Lankan Bowler Kamindu Mendis Surprises with Bowling from Both Hands

A unique bowling technique left everyone stunned during the first T20 international match between India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan bowler Kamindu Mendis amazed spectators with his bowling in the 10th over.

In this over, Mendis delivered the first ball with his left hand to Suryakumar Yadav and then switched to bowling the second ball with his right hand to Rishabh Pant. This technique, known as “MB Deters Bowling,” is entirely legal under cricket regulations.

According to the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) rules, a bowler must inform the umpire before using this technique. The umpire must approve this method before the bowler can proceed with it.

This isn’t the first time such bowling has been seen. Sri Lankan player Hasaranga Tilakaratne and England’s Graham Gooch have also used this technique in the past.

This unique bowling style has introduced a new element of excitement into the cricketing world. It will be interesting to see if more players adopt this technique in the future.
