No More Saturday Holidays for Islamabad Schools from August 10

The Ministry of Education has announced the termination of the weekly holiday for educational institutions in Islamabad, effective August 10.

This decision, directed by the Federal Secretary for Education and Vocational Training, aims to enhance students’ academic and extracurricular development.


According to the official notification, Saturdays will now be dedicated to providing extra academic support to students struggling in various subjects.

In addition to academic assistance, schools will also organize various extracurricular activities on Saturdays, offering a holistic approach to student development.
