In a bold statement on Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser suggested that an alliance between PTI and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) could potentially end the political careers of other parties in the country.
Qaiser emphasized that “fair and free elections are the only solution to the problems” Pakistan currently faces. Criticizing the ruling party, he claimed, “PML-N has lost its senses.”
He also expressed confusion over the stance of Khawaja Asif, a prominent PML-N leader, stating, “I could not understand the mind of Khawaja Asif. We do not desire for holding talks with the government.”
Qaiser reiterated PTI’s belief that elections are the only way to rescue the country from its ongoing crises. He accused the government of being “helpless to put things in order,” arguing that their policies are causing widespread suffering among the people.
“The Constitution and the law of the land allow us to hold rallies. If the government thinks we will retreat, it is impossible,” he asserted, adding, “We will not bug out. People are suffering due to the policies of the PML-N government. Its policies have created problems for them.”
