Sialkot – A shocking incident occurred in Sialkot’s Adda Pasruriyan, where a lizard’s tail was discovered in a plate of food at a local hotel. The Punjab Food Authority acted swiftly, shutting down the hotel immediately.
The incident came to light when a group of lawyers from Gujranwala, who were having breakfast at the hotel, found the lizard’s tail in their dish of chickpeas. This discovery led to a heated argument between the lawyers and the hotel staff, which soon escalated into a physical altercation.
As the scuffle drew attention, a crowd gathered outside the hotel. The situation was eventually brought under control by onlookers. In the meantime, the hotel staff allegedly tried to destroy evidence by knocking the plate to the ground.
Upon learning of the incident, the Food Authority’s team conducted an inspection, finding unsanitary conditions, including open drains and cobwebs in the kitchen area. As a result, they imposed a ban on the sale of breakfast at the hotel and ordered its immediate closure.
The Food Authority spokesperson confirmed that strict action would be taken against the hotel for its poor hygiene practices.
