Indian cricket star Virat Kohli is in legal trouble as the Bangalore Police have filed an FIR against his pub, One8 Commune. The FIR alleges that the pub stayed open past its allowed hours and played loud music on July 6, 2024.
According to the complaint, One8 Commune should have closed by 1:30 a.m., but it stayed open later and caused disturbances with high-volume music. The police have also taken action against three other pubs in the area for similar issues.
This legal issue comes just as Kohli is preparing to move to London. The FIR follows his recent success in cricket, where he led India to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup final against South Africa and announced his retirement from T20 International cricket.
Kohli, who was named Player of the Match for his 76 runs in the final, expressed his gratitude for his cricket career and said it was time for new players to take over.
